2nd Annual Nationwide Miracle Milk™ Stroll

On Saturday May 2, 2015, in over 160 U.S. and Canadian Parks & Malls we raised funds, educated, & raised appreciation for the life-saving power of human milk! Support the Baltimore Stroll--postponed to May 30. Or donate to one of our other teams. It's not too late to make a difference!

What's the Stroll?

The Mother's Miracle Milk™ Stroll is casual walk around the park or down the mall to show our excitement and solidarity for this historic first - a national fundraising and awareness campaign for the human milk cause!

It's not a march, or a walk for distance. Each location will decide for how long or how far they choose to stroll.

Whether it's delivered at the breast, by pumping or by donor, human milk IS Miracle Milk™. It is a complex "living" elixir of hundreds of ingredients that have the power to save lives, prevent disease, and promote and protect our health from birth - and for a lifetime. We don't need more science, we need more solutions to help more moms get more Miracle Milk™ to more of our fragile babies!

The Best for Babes Foundation is the only consumer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit for healthy infant feeding.

Human Milk Saves Lives. 500 U.S. & Canadian preemie infants die annually, and 5000 more are sickened, from Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC). Feeding these fragile babies human milk has been shown to reduce the risk of NEC by 79%. NEC causes indescribable anguish to babies and parents. Just one NEC-related surgery can cost $200,000, not including lifelong complications and treatment. The AAP recommends donor milk for fragile babies, yet 60% of NICUs don't use it. Lots of ways to help: Join the Stroll. Make a Donation. Donate Milk to your local milk bank. Do one or all three! There are lots of ways to help!

Best for Babes is not affiliated with any milk bank or milk banking organization. Proceeds from this year's MMS support Best for Babes and this year's partners: NEC Society and LLL USA.

Proceeds benefit Best for Babes and our Partners to fund education for parents, medical directors, hospital administrators, and health care providers about the existence, accessibility, safety and life-saving power of human milk and donor milk for our most fragile and compromised infants in the NICU.
