About Me

I am a mother of two energetic kiddos, both of whom were breastfed for more than a year.  We've had a few challenges along the way, and I'm eager to fight the Booby Traps to make breastfeeding easier for other mothers & children. 

I ran the Indianapolis 500 Festival Mini Marathon (13.1 miles) in May of 2012 in support of Team Best for Babes. It was my first-ever half marathon, and I'm very proud of the accomplishment  :-)

My current goal is to run 25 half marathons in 25 different states by the time I turn 40, raising funds for Team Best for Babes along the way.  Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Colorado have been checked off the list.  Next up is Michigan in October 2013.
