Babeworthy: Nestle Laughs at the WHO Code

May 13, 2011 By Danielle Rigg, JD CLC Leave a Comment

Babes, if you’ve been too busy to catch the news in breastfeeding this week, here are a few links to keep you up to speed:

1.  Nestle thinks 97% of its WHO Code Violations aren’t worth addressing. Of their 134 violations, they plan to address four.  Danone, on the other hand, plans to take action and remedy fifty percent of their Code Violations.

2.  Did you see our fabulous Mother’s Day blog series?  It’s all about Rebuilding the Circle of support between moms and their daughters.  We included a great letter for daughters to give their moms about the decision to breastfeed and a quick-reference breastfeeding fact sheet to give grandmas, too – check it out!

3.  Right now and for the entire month of May, you can use code HEALING to save $5 on our Annee Matthew Nursing Tee, Melinda G Nursing Cami, or our Signature BfB Short-Sleeve Tee!  Free shipping, too, and proceeds benefit BfB!

PS – May 13th is the last day to Donate to BfB for FREE just by “liking” our Facebook page!

Brought to you by Hadley Stilwell & A Mother’s Boutique!
