Robyn Roche-Paull is an IBCLC in private practice with Tidewater Lactation Group, Inc., and an active La Leche League Leader of over 10 years. She has worked with breastfeeding mothers since 1999, and professionally since 2006. In her practice she primarily helps military mothers balance returning to active duty while continuing to breastfeed, but also sees mothers for everything from breastfeeding twins to inducing lactation. Along with being an IBCLC and LLL Leader, Robyn is the Author of Breastfeeding in Combat Boots and Founder of the companion website www.breastfeedingincombatboots.com.
Robyn is not only an advocate for active duty military mothers who wish to combine breastfeeding with military service, she is also a US Navy Veteran who successfully breastfed her son for over a year while on active duty as an aircraft mechanic. She is the mother of 3 long-term breastfed children now 14, 11 and 7, and wife of 17 years to her husband, a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy.
